Resort has breathtaking views of the majestic mountain ranges and magical starry night skies. To the east is the infamous Death Valley and the Whites Mountain Range, while directly west are the High Sierra's
containing our Olancha Peak at 12,132 ft high.
We are known as the Gateway to Death Valley and Minutes to Mt. Whitney,
the tallest mountain in the 48 contiguous U.S. states (14,494ft).
On the property we offer Olancha Café with grass-fed beef and bison, and a
general store with exotic beer, ice cream and gifts.
There is also a well-water swimming pool, public restrooms, showers, and a laundromat.
We are known for our Handmade Tipi Village, made by Native Americans in the state of Oregon.
We also offer RV Spots with 30/50 amp full hook up and Motel Rooms including Suites and Family Rooms.
900 feet North of the Cafe' is Violet's Ranch Motel.
There we have our updated King and Queen Rooms as well as our Cabins.

Olancha Café
Olancha Resort features an on-site restaurant, Olancha Café, which offers organic cuisine with grass fed buffalo and beef rib eye steak dinners, as well as plantbased and vegetarian options. The breakfast offers cage free eggs, country potatoes, as well as many other choices including country fried steak, and pancakes or French toast with real maple syrup and gluten free options. Packed lunches and shakes including date, are available to go for Death Valley or Mt. Whitney day trips.
The Cafe' is open from 8am-10pm. Mid day is on call so please call first. Our Cafe' staff resides on the property. 760-764-0023

Our rooms offer Smart TV’s with premium channels, Heating/Air Conditioning or water coolers, Microwaves, Refrigerators, Coffee Pots for our complementary coffee and tea, and seasonal Hot Chocolate. Some of the rooms also include Hair dryers and eco friendly amenities.
Other than the deluxe family rooms most have ceiling fans. We offer a Queen, Queen Suite, One Bedroom Suite,
A Deluxe One Bedroom Suite, Deluxe Family Rooms and a Tipi Village. At Violets Ranch 900ft North is The Handicap King, Double Queens, Cabins and Cottages. All our rooms are Pet Friendly $10 fee per night.

Tipis of Olancha is focused on providing a Nomadic experience with beautiful silhouettes. For an incredible ambiance, each tipi is handwoven and painted by Authentic Native Americans. In each tipi there is a ceiling fan, Mini Fridges and water coolers and heaters depending on the season. During the cold Winter months we also offer mattress pad heaters. We have 1800 thread count premium bedding for a true Glamping experience. Restrooms are provided throughout the park. There are places to relax and look at the evening stars sitting around a fire pit with friends.

Violet's Ranch Motel
Violet's Ranch Motel is 900 ft north of the Cafe' on 65 acres of beautiful high Desert property. It was built by John Grant in the early 1900's. It is being renovated to maintain the integrity and design of Mr. and Mrs. Grants style. Some say Mr. and Mrs. Grant's spirits still reside. The Ranch has a landing strip west of the rooms where the famous Howard Hughes flew in with his fishing buddies back in the day for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Planes are welcome when purchasing a room at No Charge.
The rooms have 1800 thread count premium bedding, smart TV's, mini kitchenettes. small fridges, new a/c and heated units, and recently updated room, The King, has an added 2nd handicap bathroom. All of the flooring is travertine stone with thick stone walls for privacy. Our Landmark Cabins and cottages are original and unique and also built in the early 1900's. A true memorable experience.
